What Follows is A True Story! Like every beginning, ‘Eyes on Nepal’ also began its journey with that first humble step. Not knowing where it would lead, nonetheless believing in sheer passion and commitment to show the beauty of Nepal, Eyes on Nepal team dared to dream and reach higher.
Eyes On Nepal was founded in 2013 by Siddartha Mishra and Angie Ong after they decided that work could itself be an adventure and fun. The two met for the first time in Kathmandu when Angie was in Nepal on holiday. Soon after the two set out in search of Bengal Tigers in Bardia National Park to capturing Red Panda in the icy mountains of Langtang, from narrow gulleys of Bhaktapur to sprawling lakes of Pokhara valley, and from the Hindu cradle spot of Varanasi to seeing impressive palaces in the desert state of Rajasthan.
Their combined experience and an exchange of ideas finally led to the birth Eyes on Nepal.
Today we take utmost pride in the fact that Eyes on Nepal provides its service to 500+ clients every year and runs tour programs in five countries, namely Nepal, Tibet, Bhutan, Indonesia and India.
This is not a small achievement when you consider that it has only been 3 years since Eyes On Nepal started. All this is due to our loyal clients who truly believe in passion and satisfied with our hospitality.

Our personal approach to each of our client will ensure that every one’s requirements are addressed and cared for, whether they are travelling solo or in groups.
What differentiates us from other travel companies is that we don’t believe in “follow-the-guide-with-a-flag” motto. Following the guide wherever he/she takes you is not how we lead our tours. Instead of getting lost in crowded, we allow you more time and space to discover yourself. We are not a normal tour company. For us the interests of every client of ours count and we will always look out for everyone in a group and give best advice and tips.

Eyes on Nepal believes in doing its bit for society. ‘People before profit’ is our motto. As part of our social responsibilities, we channel 10 % of our total profit to Social Service Fund. The Fund is used to organize volunteer programs in different places of Nepal year round. Presently, we are rebuilding Kaule Devi Primary School in Nuwakot district that had been damaged by April Earthquake 2015.
Apart from reconstructing the school, we are also giving tuition scholarship to 6 students from poor families along with free lunch and free educational materials.
Promoting Sustainable Tourism is the major principle behind our operation. Our business rests on three pillars: sound business, sound environment and sound local economy. We aim at creating jobs and opportunities for local people, conserving environment and investing in the future to make our business sustainable.
According to prescribed laws of Nepal, legal documents and registration is required to run a travel/trekking agency. Permission has to be taken from the Ministry of Tourism, Culture & Civil Aviation and Department of Tourism before starting a company. Similarly, companies also take membership of respective travel or trekking association.
These associations protect the rights of the companies and professionals while promoting Nepal in the regional and international market.
