Dhulikhel is a small Newari town of old houses and temples which is about 30 km away from Kathmandu via the Araniko Highway. It is a hill station for viewing the beautiful snow-peak Himalayas. And this is a local weekend retreat for the locals to get away from the hustle and bustle of the Kathmandu city.
Dhulikhel Namobuddha Panauti Day Tour is an easy and pleasant day tour around the Kathmandu valley and is also called Kathmandu day tour for monastery and temples. Your tour will begin from Dhulikhel to Namobuddha. Where you will visit the Namobuddha View Point, Namobuddha Monastery, and Namobuddha temples. You will also get to trek down to Panauti (1340 m) and experience the unique Newari cultures. From here, we will drive you back to Kathmandu.

07.00am: Pick up from your hotel in Kathmandu and begin the drive to Dhulikhel (1550m).
NOTE: The trip from Kathmandu to Dhulikhel is about 30km and a 40-minute drive away.
08.00am: Arrive at Dhulikhel Hill Station, and enjoy gorgeous views of the Himalayas along this beautiful hilly station. After you get your fill of views and photos, we will head towards the Namobuddha Monastery (1750m).
11.00am: Arrive at Namobuddha Monastery. We will have lunch at a local restaurant.
NOTE: At this stop, you will get to visit the Namobuddha Monastery, Namobuddha View Point, and Namobuddha Temple.
01.00pm: Continue the drive to Panauti UNESCO Town (1340m).
Description: Panauti is a small town, which is also called the town with 40 temples dedicated to different deities. Panauti holds 28 festivals a year. The town is filled with temples and religious buildings.
The biggest temple in Panauti is the 3-storey temple named Indreshwar Mahadev, which stands tall in the middle of a courtyard paved with bricks.
04.00pm: Drive to Kathmandu from Panauti. The journey will take approximately 40 minutes.
NOTES: The highlights of this Dhulikhel Namobuddha 1 day trek from Kathmandu is the Newari Village, the temples, Gompa, and the gorgeous views of the Himalayan range of mountains. The Himalayan mountains which you will be able to see include Langtang Lirung (7227m), Gauri Shankar (7134m), Melungtse (7181m), Numbur (5945m), and many more.
