Day 1: Kathmandu Airport – Kathmandu Thamel

00.00pm: Arrive at Kathmandu Airport.

00.00pm: Pick up from airport and transfer to hotel.

00.00pm: Check in. Free and easy at own leisure. Tour ends.

NOTE:

• The hotel is within the Thamel area which you can explore at your own leisure at night. Eyes On Nepal recommends some good restaurants here for coffee or dinner.
• Walking distance: 10 to 20 minutes. Our tour guide will bring you around in Thamel area, and will explain where to go, what to see, what to eat….

Day 2: Kathmandu – Nagarkot

Highlight: Bhaktapur Durbar Square + 7 km Jarsing Pawau – Nagarkot Trek (3 hours)

09.00 am: Pick up from your hotel in Kathmandu. Daily tour begins. Visit:

• Bhaktapur Durbar Square is an assortment of pagoda and Shikhara-style temples grouped around a fifty-five- window palace of brick and wood. The square is part of a charming valley as it highlights the idols of ancient kings perched on top of stone monoliths, the guardian deities looking out from their sanctuaries, the wood carvings in very place – struts, lintels, tympanums, gateways and windows – all seem to form a well-orchestrated symphony.

12.00pm: Start the 7km trek from Jarsing Pauwa to Nagarkot.

• You need only carry your water and personal belongings. Your luggage will be checked into the hotel in Nagarkot by your tour guide.

04.00pm: Arrive in hotel at Nagarkot. Check in.

04.30pm: After check in. Sunset Tour in Nagarkot from your hotel.

06.00pm: Return to hotel. Dinner at hotel.

07.00pm: After dinner, rest & relax.

Day 3: Nagarkot - Kathmandu Day Tour

Highlight: Changu Narayan Temple + Patan Durbar Square+ 1.5 hours massage in your hotel + Romantic Dinner in Black Olive Restaurant.

05.00am: Wake up for sunrise from your hotel.

07.00am: Breakfast with a view from your hotel.

10.00am: Check out from hotel. Pick up from hotel. Visit:

• Changu Narayan Temple: This is the oldest temple in Kathmandu Valley. It was built in the 4th century. The temple is adorned by some of the best specimens of stone, wood, and metal craft in the valley. The temple stands as the epitome of culture, religion, history and faith of the Kathmandu valley. NOTE: UNESCO world Heritage Site.

11.30am: We will continue the tour to Patan Durbar Square.

12.30pm: Lunch at Patan Palace Restaurant or similar class restaurant around Patan area.

01.30pm: After lunch, we will visit:

• Patan Durbar Square: Patan officially Lalitpur Sub-Metropolitan City, is the third largest city of Nepal after Kathmandu and Pokhara. It is located in the south-central part of Kathmandu Valley. Patan is also known as Manigal. It is best known for its rich cultural heritage, particularly its tradition of arts and crafts. It is called city of festival and feast, fine ancient art, making of metallic and stone carving statue.

04.00pm: Arrive in Kathmandu, check in hotel. Free & easy after check in.

06.00pm: Pick up from hotel and you will enjoy a 1.5 hours massage at your hotel.

08.00pm: Pick up and you for your romantic dinner at Black Olive Restaurant.

09.30pm: Return to hotel. Tour ends.

Day 4: Kathmandu Day Tour

Highlights: Visit 3 x UNESCO World Heritage Sites + Nepalese traditional cultural dance performances.

07.00am: Breakfast at hotel.

08.00am: Pick up from your hotel in Kathmandu. Daily tours begin. Visit:

• Swayambhunath Stupa, the Monkey Temple – one of the oldest Buddhist Stupa in Kathmandu Valley
• Boudhanath Stupa – The largest stupa in Nepal and the holiest Tibetan Buddhist temple outside Tibet. NOTE: UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE.

01.30pm: Lunch en route at local restaurant.

02.30pm: Tours continue. Visit:

• Pashupatinath Temple – The most sacred temple of Hindu Lord Shiva in the world. NOTE: UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE.
• Kathmandu Durbar Square NOTE: UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE.

06.00pm: Dinner in Gokarna House Restaurant with Nepalese traditional cultural dance performances.

08.00pm: After dinner, return to hotel. Rest & relax.

Day 5: Kathmandu – Airport – Departure
