Introduction

One of the shortest and easiest hike around Pokhara is Kahun Danda hike, which is a newly introduced trek that is relatively less crowded and peaceful.

Kahun Danda hike is one of the short and easy treks around Pokhara. Located northeast of Pokhara it is easily accessible from Pokhara and is a daylong trek. The goal of Kahun Danda trek is to reach its highest viewpoint at an altitude of 1444m.

Along the trail you will be able to observe typical Nepali villages and rhododendron forests. Since Kahun Danda trek is fairly new trekking trail, it is less crowded and pristine. The views of Annapurna mountain ranges from an ever-present backdrop during the entire trek duration.

CANCELLATION POLICY

EON's cancellation policy is only applicable to package tariffs. The cancellation charge will be against the total package cost after deducting non-refundable expenses such as permits, transportation costs, airfare expenses that have been paid as part of the trip.

If you cancel your trip 30 days prior to the program start date, 15% cancellation fees of the total package cost will be charged.
Any cancelation made 15 days prior to the program start date, 30% cancellation fees of the total package cost will be charge.
If you cancel your trip 1 week prior to the program start date, 50% cancellation fees of the total package cost will be charge.
cancelation made less than one week prior to the program start date, it will be deemed as no show and hence no refund will be made.
You must notify us about cancellation through writing via email.

Here is the details itinerary for this Kahun danda hike from Pokhara :

Pokhara-Kahun Danda-Pokhara

Your guide will pick you up at 8am from lakeside Pokhara for the trek. So, we suggest you to have you breakfast before we pick you up. We will drive all the way to Fulbari barrack which takes about 45 minutes. Fulbari barrack is the starting point of your trek. This is an uphill trek and takes one hour to arrive at Kahun Danda view tower at the height of 1444m. Comparatively this trek is quite short however Kahun Danda offers great views of Annapurna mountain ranges. After spending some time, you will trek back to Fulbari Barrack and then drive to Pokhara lakeside.

During summer, the temperature in the day is about 30- 35 degree Celsius and 20 degree Celsius in the morning/evening. Sometimes due to unexpected weather, the temperature drops to 10 - 15 degree Celsius. While you touring you should travel as light as possible so we advise to carry less gadgets and belongings.
