The Shaman temple (venue) is located about one and a half kilometers away from the popular tourist hub called Thamel. At our appointed time, 30 minutes before the appointment, we will pick you up from your hotel and walk to the Shaman temple. The tour guide, who acts as an interpreter, will provide an introduction to Shamanism in Nepal, its practice, its significance in Nepalese society, and how closely it is intertwined with Nepalese culture. The tour guide will also inform you about the consultation process, including divination.
After divination, the Shaman will scan your body to check whether you have any negative energy or spirits. If they detect any negative energy or spirits, they will suggest the appropriate course of action. They will provide immediate treatment if the situation is uncomplicated or recommend the necessary steps if it is more complex. In the event that no negative issues are found, they will perform a blessing ceremony and utilize drum sound healing to promote your eternal peace.

Shamans are known as “Jhankris.” They are considered the first mental health doctors. Shamans believe in natural energy, spirits, and souls. Knowledge and technique of shamanism practices have been transferred from generation to generation.
Shamans are not dangerous; they heal people with knowledge and power gained through their practice and connection to the divine. Their aim is to help and bring positive change to those seeking their assistance.
There are no specific dress codes, but we highly recommend wearing clothing that covers your entire body when visiting sacred Shaman temples(shrines).
There are no side effects from this one-on-one Shaman consultation. The process is entirely natural. You won’t be given any herbs or medicines. There is no black magic or Tantra to control or read your mind. Shamans use their mantras and powers during divination process.
Guests will be accompanied by an experienced tour guide who will also act as a translator. They will assist you throughout the entire process and share knowledge about Shamanist practices in Nepal.

We recommend you mentally prepare for your Shaman consultation at the Shaman temple. There might be other visitors, and some treatment methods or behaviors might be unfamiliar. It’s not harmful, but being mentally prepared will make your consultation successful. Our tour guide/interpreter will explain Shamanism in Nepal and their practices to help you prepare
